Veocor has developed the first personalized tool to provide a quantitative assessment of the risk of cardiac thrombus formation and associated stroke. Veocor’s patent-pending technology analyzes standard ultrasound images to provide a quantitative measure of blood flow within the left ventricle, identifying areas of blood stasis which are most susceptible to thrombus formation.

Veocor’s software analyzes images obtained using standard echocardiographic views, does not require special hardware, and does not require special operator training. Analysis is performed in the cloud via a web interface and takes less than 5 minutes. This technology will allow clinicians to risk-stratify patients and identify those would benefit from anticoagulation.
